Ute Schulz has been an interpreter and translator for English and German for over 15 years. Focussing on only one foreign language in addition to her mother tongue has enabled her to master English at native speaker level.
Since 2005, Ute Schulz has been sworn in as an interpreter and is thus authorized to act as a mediator at official events, such as court hearings and trials. An interpreter has to provide evidence of outstanding skills and knowledge in order to be sworn in at court.
Interpreting is very demanding and mentally strenuous work. Therefore, we generally work in teams of at least two interpreters who take turns of 20- to 30-minute intervals. Teams are usually composed depending on requirements and availability; however, we try to keep the same teams in place for recurring events, thereby ensuring familiarity with the subject matter.
